Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. Example: 15% of 80 = (80 x 15) / 100 = 12. Shortcut: 80 x 0.15 = 12.
(New - Old) / Old x 100. Example: from 50 to 60 = (60-50)/50 x 100 = +20%. A price drop from 60 to 50 = (50-60)/60 x 100 = -16.67%.
Original = Final / (1 + percentage/100). Example: £120 price includes 20% tax. Original = 120 / 1.20 = £100.
